INCLEMENT WEATHER PLAN 2023-2024
All families are encouraged to check the STWDSTS Transportation website, which is updated daily at 6:30am, from mid November to mid April, to monitor school bus cancellations, delays, and also school closures:

When school buses are cancelled in the City of Guelph, St. Patrick remains OPEN for those students who are able to make their way to and from school safely. Those impacted by a bus cancellation are encouraged to check the classroom D2L page, after 10:30 am, for updates and the academic focus for the day. Parents who choose to keep their children home are required to notify the school as per our regular attendance reporting practices. When transportations, buses and taxis, are cancelled, they are cancelled for the entire day.
When schools are CLOSED in the City of Guelph, St. Patrick Catholic School is CLOSED to all students and staff. Although closures are rare, we do see them occasionally. On those days, both staff and students are asked to remain at home for the day. All students/families are encouraged to check the classroom D2L page, after 10:30am, for updates and the academic focus of the day.
