GIVE THE GIFT OF HOPE THIS ADVENT
Spread HOPE, PEACE, JOY & LOVE this Advent season by participating in St. Patrick's Social Justice Team's Advent Initiatives. If you are able to help those in need, there are three opportunities to give:
Toiletry Drive for Women in Crisis
In the month of December, we will be accepting toiletries for Guelph Women in Crisis. Primary students (Kindergarten, Gr. 1, 2 & 3) are encouraged to bring in Toothpaste. Junior students (Gr. 4, 5, & 6) are encouraged to bring in Shampoo or Conditioner (unscented preferred), and our Intermediate students (Gr. 7 & 8) are encouraged to bring in women's deodorant. The final day to bring in toiletries in December 12, 2022.
Grocery Gift Card Campaign
In the month of December, St. Patrick will be accepting monetary donations of $5, $10 or $20 via SCHOOL CASH ONLINE (LINK). With the funds collected, the Social Justice Team will purchase grocery gift cards for families in need within our own St. Patrick School Community. For your convenience, you are more than welcome to drop off grocery gift cards in any amount to the main office as well. The Social Justice Team has a goal of collecting $500 in cash/gift cards. If we raise $250.00, students will receive a NO HOMEWORK PASS for Friday, December 16, and if they reach the goal of $500.00, they will receive AN EXTRA RECESS. The last day to make a donation or submit a gift card is Monday, December 19, 2022.
Cereal Drive for the Community
In the month of December, we will be accepting boxes of cereal, all kinds, and will be delivering these to the Holy Rosary Pantry and families in our own community. The final day to bring is boxes of cereal is Monday, December 19, 2022.
